American girl who loves animals looking to see more of the world by house sitting abroad

About this sitter

I'm an American girl from Texas currently traveling the world after finishing my volunteer work in the U.K. I'm looking to house sit for someone with between one to four pets, who may have some small chores that need to be done like gardening or watering the plants.

Why they want to house sit

I just finished volunteering for five months in the U.K. and would love to spend some time getting to see new places before I return to the U.S. I'm hoping that my availability can let me meet and help other people, make new friends, and play with lots of animals.

Their experience

I have been doing house sitting assignments off and on for five years. I have done both overnight and three-week-long pet sitting arrangements, and have been invited back on six different occasions by one person to watch their pets. I have experience with dogs, cats, small birds, fish, horses, and chickens. I also have done cleaning, gardening, and yardwork during my stays. Outside of house sitting, I also have experience with cows and rabbits.

What can they bring to the assignment

The people I house sit for have always told me that I am hardworking, reliable, and caring. I always want to do a job well, and so I make sure that all pets are happy and well-cared for, and I always strive to leave the house or yard in a better condition than I found it. I also provide regular photo and text updates on the status of the house and pets, and make sure that I am always able to be contacted by the owners.
