Education professor available to care for your home and pets

About this sitter

Hi,
I am semi-retired and teaching part time as adjunct faculty in the School of Education at a major research university in the Washington DC area. I fell in love with England and France while traveling and studying flower arranging. I would love to find a house sit close to London, Somerset, Bath, or the Cotswolds. I am also interested in spending time in Provence, Normandy or Alsace.

Why they want to house sit

I love spending time abroad, meeting new people and discovering new places. House sitting provides a wonderful opportunity for me to spend time in England and/or Europe while I am on breaks from teaching. My grown children are able to care for my home while I am away.

Their experience

I currently own two homes; one in suburban DC and a country property with four acres where I am undertaking a native meadow restoration project. I have decades of experience managing my own properties and caring for cats, dogs, and chickens. I have also grown flowers for market and have extensive experience caring for gardens.
