Hello! We are Tim and Vane, a trustworthy and responsible couple with a passion for helping others. Based in Staffordshire, UK, we are looking forward to caring for your home while you’re away.

Who are we?

Tim: An avid traveler and detail-oriented problem-solver who enjoys DIY projects and keeping things in order.

Vane: Originally from Argentina, she’s a nurturing and thoughtful person with a deep love for animals and a keen sense of responsibility.

We can both work remotely in the UK, and are also open to opportunities abroad where it fits in with our work.

Why they want to house sit

We see house-sitting as a unique opportunity to explore different places while helping others. As animal lovers, we truly miss the companionship of pets, but our current home doesn’t allow us to have any. Vane especially misses her dog, Lenny, who is back in Argentina. House-sitting allows us to combine our love for animals with our desire to experience life in different locations as we consider new possibilities for the future.

Their experience

Between us, we bring a wealth of experience to ensure your home and pets are in safe hands. Tim has had dogs over the years with his family and cared for Bella, a rescued three-legged cat, which taught him the importance of patience and adaptability. As a former greenkeeper and outdoor enthusiast, he’s happy to take pets out for exercise in any weather and maintain gardens with care. Vane has cared for her beloved dog Lenny and often looked after her sister’s lively Jack Russells, ensuring they received the love and attention they needed. She speaks Spanish as her native language and a little Italian, making her an excellent communicator across cultures. Together, we’ve cared for homes and pets of friends and family, always going above and beyond to leave everything better than we found it.

What can they bring to the assignment

- Home security and upkeep.
- Pet care, including feeding, exercise, and companionship.
- Plant watering and garden maintenance.
- Mail collection and other small tasks as needed.

We are both non-smokers, and you’ll find us easy to communicate with and respectful of your instructions.
