About this sitter

I am looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay so I can be near my husband while he is recovering from surgery at HSS and nearby rehab.
I plan to visit my husband during the day and be at the house/ apt the rest of the time.

Why they want to house sit

I love the idea of visiting and experiencing a new place. I love animals. I have had pets all of my life.
This time is out of need. We live in the Richmond, VA area, and my husband is having knee surgery at HSS in NYC to save his leg. It is the 10th surgery and the 7th on his right leg. He will be in the hospital and rehab for several weeks and house sitting will allow me to be in the area with him.

Their experience

Yes. In addition to running my own household of 5, recently retired homeschool mom of 3, I have house sat and pet sat for several years. I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds, and once a turtle. We have a very energetic chocolate lab named Hero and a cute Rex rabbit named Button.
I am very organized and clean. I very conscientious and follows instructions carefully. I will take care of your home and pets as if they were my own.
