About this sitter
Hello!
We are Brooke and Stacy (both 30 years old).
We are from the US (Stacy-TX, Brooke- NY), but have lived all over for the past 8 years (Spain, China, Costa Rica, Canary Islands, Mexico).
Working remotely has allowed us to travel and explore new places.
When traveling, Stacy loves running, hiking, biking, and adventurous finds!
Brooke enjoys art (ceramics, painting, and drawing), swimming, and walks through cities and nature.
Both of us love trying new food and meeting new people.
We understand the important of having a home kept clean and safe when you're away and that having someone care for your pet is an important choice.
Why they want to house sit
We are trying to find our permanent destination, so over the next 2 years we will be exploring to see what location is the right fit.
House-sitting in the past has provided us with great friendships and connections and allowed us to truly explore a place at a slower pace.
Traveling means that we cannot have pets of our own, but once we settle down, we would love to have them! Pet-sitting allows for us to experience the joy of pets while we move around.
Their experience
We were able to house and pet-sit in 2021 (Costa Rica & Canary Islands) and after spending some time in Seattle, WA, we have decided to get back out there and explore more of the world.
We have cared for houses, boats, kids, pets, and artist residencies.
We have both grown up with pets (dogs, cats, and fish) and taken care various animals (dogs, cats, guineafowls, rescue parrots, koi, etc.).
What can they bring to the assignment
Stacy is extremely clean and loves a routine. Brooke is creative, calm, and thoughtful.

Two first-rate house sitters for the price of one
Stacy Smith and her partner Brooke Cerny have been extraordinarily capable and trustworthy house cities, Our home in Costa Rica is in the mountains and contains over three acres of gardens and woods, as well as a variety of animals including a house cat, three Guinea fowl, a parrot, and koi fish. Stacy and Brooke have taken good care of all of these creatures, emailing us occasional photos of them to show how they are getting along. They have watered our extensive gardens regularly, supervised our part-time gardner and our house cleaner, both of whom come weekly. They supervised an attic repair and kep track of the materials needed to be delivered for it. They are both friendly, responsible and very conscientious people.
