Animal lover looking for change of scenery

Hi, I’m Eve (28)! I’m an artist and carer from North East England. I've been in the city for the past few years, I'm looking for a house close to nature to take time to rest, recharge and spark inspiration. I love being around animals so I’m especially interested in house-sitting for homes with pets. My partner, (Tom 32) may also be available to house sit too, depending on the dates. He works in film and is also an animal lover. We are both non smokers.

Why they want to house sit

I love the idea of experiencing new places and immersing myself in different surroundings. House-sitting offers the perfect opportunity to do this whilst making a new furry friend at the same time!

Up until recently, I had a gorgeous tortoise shell cat, Stella. Whenever I went away my friend would look after her, and for me it was so reassuring knowing someone trustworthy was around to make sure she was fed and watered and very importantly, available for cuddles. So I hope to offer that to others.

Their experience

While I’m new to house-sitting through a website, I have plenty of experience caring for animals in real life! Growing up, we always had cats, so I’m very comfortable looking after them. I’ve also looked after dogs for several close friends, staying with them for days at a time. My grandma has two Border Collies, Billie and Moss, and I often stay at her house to care for them when she’s away. I work as a live-in carer, where part of my role involves being responsible for the home, keeping it clean, tidy, and secure. Due to my job, I am very familiar with living in other peoples spaces and the respect and responisibilities that come with that.

What can they bring to the assignment

A loving presence for your animals, as many cute pet photos as you’d like and peace of mind that your home is being well looked after.
