Jeremy & Zoe - Country raised couple, travelling the world!

About this sitter

Both raised in a small farming town, in Riverina New South Wales, Australia.
Zoe - Currently working as a Teacher SLSO (school learning support officer), and seasonally working as a grain handler during harvesting seasons in our small country town.
Jeremy - Currently working as a farmhand on a large scale livestock property. Previously completed a trade as a Fitter/Machinist and work seasonally harvesting cereal and oil crops.

We have both taken 6 months leave from our current jobs to travel SEA, UK and EU.
We are looking for stays anywhere from a couple of days to 3 weeks in any part of the EU and UK.
We are a clean and respectable couple who are able to maintain a house or property and can provide references from owners of pets we have previously cared for.

Why they want to house sit

- We have no travel plans therefore house sitting gives us an opportunity to stay and explore a new place we may not have looked at visiting before.
- We have busy lives back home so being able to care for pets and a home gives us some purpose and work while travelling.
- Gives us a chance to feel like we are ‘living’ rather than staying in a place.

Their experience

In 2024 together we took on a long-term 6 month housesit for a family member looking after a 2.5 acre garden and vineyard, as well as Buddy (Golden Labrador).

Zoe - I have had the job of feeding and taking care of 3 horses and 3 dogs for 10 days on a small property.
Jeremy - I have previously looked after 2 cats (1 Ragdoll and 1 tabby) for 3 weeks, as well as 2 dogs ( 1 Boxer and 1 Newfoundland) for 5 Days.
