Animal and plant whisperer seeking sitting opportunities

About this sitter

Hi! My name is Sally Trainor and I currently reside in West Virginia, United States. I am 39 years old, and I work remotely as an Accountant. I am responsible, conscientious, and reliable. I have been described as an animal whisperer, and always manage to make best friends with any and all critters. I have my own little 8 lb kitty Purrl - who is my co-pilot and steadfast companion, and has traveled all over the country with me. I love the outdoors and have a passion for hiking, camping, and backpacking. In a house sit I'm looking to expand my horizons, immerse myself in a different culture, and attentively care for the house, any animals, and plants.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit because I want to experience different cultures and ways of life. I have a deep love for animals and plants - and would love to give someone peace of mind that their homestead will be well taken care of. I have traveled and lived all over the US since 2020 - and looking to return to a more nomadic lifestyle. I also have a lot of experience living off-grid and in farm settings in remote locations.

I have a lot of house/pet/plant sitting experience. I have owned pets since birth and began caring for them at a very young age. I have been entrusted to house and pet sit for many people over the years. I also worked for my friend's housesitting business for a time - and always received rave reviews. I also have experience with houseplants - I owned over 100 at one time. In addition, I have garden-sat for many people, and grew up learning how to tend a garden. I have also had various jobs that entailed cleaning and minor repairs. Most recently I worked at a very busy hostel during peak season and a large part of my job was cleaning and turning over the beds. I was also responsible for notifying the owner of any issues with the house and maintenance concerns.

I can bring a lot to an assignment, including excellent communication, extensive experience with plant, animal, and house care, and most importantly a love for helping other beings. I would love the opportunity to care for your home and all of its inhabitants!
