About this sitter

We enjoy walking so a walkable situation would be ideal. Non-smoking is a requirement. We do not enjoy loud music or traffic noise; we prefer a serene environment within the house.

Why they want to house sit

We are frugal people who don’t like to spend a lot of money on hotels. We also enjoy getting to know the community by actually living in it rather than passing through as tourists. Our old dog died recently so we miss the company of animals on walks and at night.

Their experience

This would be our first house-sitting experience as “professionals”; however we have taken care of homes/pets for our two adult daughters and friends.

What can they bring to the assignment

We have always owned our own home, and are comfortable maintaining and caring for them. We are meticulously housekeepers—Bonnie especially cannot abide clutter or any hint of dirt. We have a 35 year history of pet ownership ourselves as adults—horses, turkeys, chickens, dogs, and cats—and are accustomed to caring for variety of animals, thanks to our kids varying interests.
