About this sitter

We are the Renfer Family—a family of four embarking on an exciting year of travel! My wife and I both work remotely, which gives us the flexibility to care for a home and pets while fully respecting any specific requirements. Our children (ages 3 ½ and 6 as of March 2025) have been raised with a strong sense of responsibility, nature, and connection through their Waldorf education. We believe that house sitting is a wonderful way to immerse ourselves in different communities, and we take the privilege of caring for someone’s home seriously.

Why they want to house sit

Our goal is to explore the world while giving our children meaningful experiences—learning from different environments, cultures, and ways of life. We love the idea of helping homeowners travel stress-free, knowing that their pets and home are being cared for with the same love and attention we give our own.
