About this sitter

I am a 53 year, licensed therapist, somatic coach and yoga therapy practitioner. I have my own private practice in Santa Monica, California. I am passionate about wellness on all levels but particularly emotional and mental health. I feel being mentally healthy is not always easy this day and age and I want to be part of the solution. So many struggle with emotional instability and need help. Because I believe therapy should be available to everyone no matter what their life circumstance, I’ve committed myself to offering a sliding scale to many of my clients to make high quality therapy accessible to those who need it. In addition to be a therapist, I am also a single mom to a magical 13 year old girl. Her dream is to travel more; her top picks are Italy, France and Germany. I want to make this a reality for her but I don’t make enough income at the moment to afford international travel. This is where this site comes in. I could make it happen if I was able to house and / or pet sit during these trips to bring the cost down.

I love being a homemaker and homebody! Whenever I’ve stayed in a friend or family members home or rented an Airbnb on a vacation, I’ve really enjoyed the home like environment it offers as an alternative to hotels. I like to live like a local not as a tourist. I feel being in someone’s home feels like a more authentic way to experience a new place.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am very detail oriented and know how to clean and keep a house. Your home will look the same or better when I leave. That’s my good Montessori education! Lol I am also a good communicator as a therapist, so anything that comes up with neighbors, contractors, or anyone else who serves your property will be expertly handled.
