About this sitter
I am a sign language interpreter and environmental conservationist by day, and pet sitter by night.
Most of my work these days comes virtually, which makes full-time house sitting a breeze and ensures I am able to give extra time and attention to your furry/feathered/scaly friends.
Our perfect sit is one where your pets are happy to make a new friend! I travel full time with my own senior shepherd, who loves long walks followed by long naps. Raised by cats, he is quite aloof and knows he's always the bottom of the chain of command!
Why they want to house sit
Pet sitting has been a fun and rewarding way to make new connections, travel, and alleviate living expenses. We started out doing this as just a fun way to change things up and quickly realized that we had been bitten by the travel bug and wanted to make it a regular part of our lives. These experiences have created lasting memories and friendships!
Their experience
We started out occasionally house/pet-sitting via word of mouth with friends and family; but, for the last nearly two years, Mowgli and I have been making new friends full-time.
We have over 30 house sits under our belts with no signs of stopping!
What can they bring to the assignment
I will bring my expertise and years of animal relationships as well as a bonus furry friend to keep your animals company and distracted from your absence. Most of the time, I will have my own vehicle with me as well.

Very reliable and ultra responsible
We have had Grace sit for us on numerous occasions because she is very reliable and ultra responsible. We don’t hesitate leaving town or the country for extended periods when we know Grace will be taking care of our home and pets. This time the weather was so cold that our pond froze because our aerator stopped working. We have geese that depend on the pond for their safety. Grace ordered a new aerator which she had to assemble and install in bitter cold weather. She saved the day! Our dogs and cats seem so content and comfortable when we return as well. We cannot say enough good things about Grace. She’s wonderful!

Welcome back anytime
Grace cared for my house and babies while I was out of country on a cruise. While I was gone we had snow and ice and snow storms which left her essentially snow bound. She did well and the dogs and cat fared very well. She was even able to teach them a trick or two. My animals got along well with her dog Mowgli, that travels with her. My house was neat, tidy and orderly when I returned. She is welcome back anytime our schedules allow.

Grace is a great sitter! She communicates appropriately, keeps us updated but is self sufficient. We highly recommend her
We have had Grace sit for us on numerous occasions and every time she has been excellent. She brings her dog with her which has been a great companionship for our animals! He is a gentle dog that is safe to have around other pets as well as all of our chickens, geese and guineas. Grace cares for our home as an owner would care for it. In fact, the house was cleaner upon our return than it was when we left! Grace is caring, efficient, responsible and reliable. We highly recommend her. We try to use her services whenever possible!

Thoughtful, very genuine and full of integrity
It was clear from the first moment I met Grace off the train that she was going to be a great housesitter. She and the dogs just loved each other and she gave them wonderful long and stimulating walks plus lots of attention and cuddles when back at home relaxing. Her approach is very professional as pet/housesitting is what she does. I especially liked the way she double checked important things to know (that she had already read in the Welcome Guide) just to be certain that she would get it right. As I do with all my sitters, we spent some time together before and after the sit and that was lovely..she is a woman who is thoughtful, very genuine and full of integrity as well as being great fun to be with. She is a person who truly cares about animals, humans and the world. I recommend her most highly and hope we may meet again

A delight
We have had Grace sit for us on several occasions and each time was a delight! Grace took excellent care of our house and pets, kept in continual contact with us, sent pictures, and left the house neater than when she arrived! It was so refreshing to be able to leave home and know all was in her capable hands. We didn't worry at all! And beyond all this, she is an amazing young woman; articulate, creative, adventurous, self-sufficient, and full of integrity. We would gladly have Grace sit for us any time she is available!

An excellent sitter
Grace left our house tidy and clean, and it was clear she had taken good care of our cats and chickens, too. She seems like she has a busy life, so we're glad she could do the sit. We didn't get quite as many pix as we yearned for (esp of our cats!) but she was a very good communicator and is a very sweet person. At this point she does travel with her dog, but we all made it work (and the cats were fine!). Overall, Grace was an excellent sitter and we would definitely have her again.

A good sitter
Grace was a good sitter who was willing to work with my separation anxiety pup, which I'm so grateful for! She was also impressively gracious when on her last day the next sitter was hours late. She brought her dog Mowgli, and it sounds like him and Henley had a good time playing together; and the cats, who had never met a large dog before, came around too because he's a pretty calm dog.

A wonderful sitter
Grace was a wonderful sitter for my little crew. She was very accommodating and attentive during an especially hard time for my dog Fletcher. He hates the cold and daylight savings time was ending. She took extra good care of him and communicated often to figure out how to keep him happy. She took time to double check on their schedule and planned her schedule around theirs. I would recommend Grace and have her back
Grace took very good care of our dog for 3 weeks. Hoola was happy and healthy when we returned. With some past sitters Hoola was pretty depressed and despondent, wouldn't eat, didn't interact etc... When a couple issues arose with the house, she took care of them with just a brief query where needed. She used good judgement on what needed to be brought to our attention during our 3 week vacation. The house was in good order when we returned. I would recommend Grace and would have her back.
