About this sitter

We are Corrina (26) & Ryan (30) an active couple who are healthy, non-smokers that love the outdoor lifestyle & also travel. We are experienced house / pet sitters who have been together for 7years.
We completed our first house sit together back in 2011 & have become full-time sitters who are very rarely at home. Many of our house sits have now become regulars which we pride ourselves on. In the last 6 years we have looked after all sorts of properties and all sorts of pets ranging from .. cosy Caribbean cabins with chickens, Spanish villas with dogs, busy town apartments with indoor cats to large farmhouses with working dogs and horses.

Why they want to house sit

We adore our animals at home & love looking after other people’s too. We enjoy both the independence & the responsibilities of each & every house sit no matter what variety. With the experience gained over the last 7 years we have also started house sitting internationally. Our most recent international housesit was for 10 weeks in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Currently we are both working freelance and are financially independent making us very flexible. With nothing tying us down we hope to use this time wisely to explore and to make the most of our flexibility.

Their experience

We both have a full, clean driving license and are more than used to driving and living in different countries. Having lived alone previously & owning a rental property we are very comfortable with running a house and everything that it entails, both indoors and outdoors.

What can they bring to the assignment

Corrina, 26 years old: I have a wealth of job, travel and life experiences. I am a huge animal lover but my expertise lies in horses. I have ridden since I was 5 years old and have worked with horses part and full time for nearly 10 years, having also attended Equine College. As well as working at many different stables in the UK I have been lucky enough to work with horses abroad. My first trip was to Belgium where I worked 6 months for an Olympic dressage rider, looking after and riding his team horses. My second trip was to Texas, working on a ranch, where I had the responsibility of all the horses; including riding, and I also took care of their cattle.?Growing up I used to help out at a local farm, looking after sheep, chickens, milking goats and cows etc. Never being allowed a dog at home, I have always walked and looked after neighbours and friends dogs. The last stables I worked at also had a kennels. I would regularly help and look after all the dogs when the owner wasn't around. At home one of my main jobs is walking dogs. ?

Ryan, 30 years old: I have been lucky enough to have grown up on my Dad's small holding in a rural village in North Essex. Currently we have dozens of geese, ducks, chickens, as well as a guinea pig, a rabbit, six cats, three dogs, one miniature horse and three Shetland ponies. Although my Dad has always ruled the roost I try my utmost to help him out whenever I can with the animals. My family is well known in the area for it’s love of animals, over the years we have homed unwanted pets when their owners had grown bored with them. An example was an unwanted runt of the litter, Steven, a deaf and partly blind cat, who enjoyed a long and happy life with us.??I also dabble in the general upkeep of the family property; from fencing, roofing, coppicing & hedge cutting. I love the outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed my two years working along side a tree surgeon.
