hi there, I’m a single, non-smoker, non-drinker and business owner with a love of animals, travel, immersing myself in cultures different from my own, and the outdoors.

when I’m not building my journaling business, I enjoy reading, discovering something new, spending time with my loved ones, and having cozy nights in.

I have taken care of both cats and dogs, and typically, we become fast friends. I also like clean spaces so expect to come home to a spotless situation.

Why they want to house sit

I believe home stays are the most ethical way to travel as it is reciprocal and respectful of local communities. I have traveled frequently, many times as a tourist, and I find those experiences, while wonderful in many ways, to be somewhat empty as I know I’m consuming and leaving the local community with very little other than some revenue.

After doing some house sits, I now know that love being someone others can depend on to care for their home and/or pets. It is an added bonus when I’m able to build relationships with their loved ones or neighbors, and to contribute to the community in some meaningful way.

Their experience

I have done many house sits in the past year – 1 in the U.S. with one dog, 2 in France with one cat between both, and 3 in England with a total of eleven cats and two dogs. I enjoy this way of living as I love caring for animals, and my lack of a home base helps me to engage with people from everywhere, which helps me to build my journaling business.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring my principles that all humans are equal, deserving of dignity and respect, and thus, I seek to leave a home even better than I found it. I also care deeply for animals and treat them as living beings with needs, not accessories. I communicate openly and often so that there is peace of mind for the homeowner, and seek to reciprocate their energy by leaving their home clean, and sometimes, leaving a meal or groceries for them to come home to.
