About this sitter

I’m currently a remote worker for a lovely interior design company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before that, I worked in-office at a company in Los Angeles, CA.

Travel and nature are two of my greatest loves—I’m an avid hiker and always happiest outdoors. I feel incredibly lucky to have a magical remote setup that gives me the freedom to explore more of this beautiful world.

When it comes to homes, I’m not picky at all. I truly believe every home has its own soul and story - that’s a big part of why I’m so passionate about interior design. What makes housesitting so special to me is the chance to care for and experience a space that someone else has poured their heart into. I don’t need much, either. I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in all kinds of places, so I’m very comfortable adapting and always bring a deep sense of respect and care wherever I go.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting feels like the perfect blend of everything I value-quiet, cozy spaces, a sense of trust and care, and the opportunity to experience life in a new place in a grounded, intentional way. I’ve always loved the feeling of being in a home that’s well-loved, and it’s really special to be able to care for someone’s space while they’re away. It also pairs beautifully with my remote lifestyle and love for slow travel - I get to really settle into a place, not just pass through. I see house sitting as an exchange of kindness and respect, and I don’t take that lightly.

Their experience

I do have a few house sitting experiences under my belt.

June 2024 - February 2025: I housesat for my friend in Nevada City, CA while he took care of his ill father. I made sure to clean out the drains, take out the mail, drip a faucet in winter, and just maintain general upkeep.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring a calm, grounded presence and a genuine appreciation for being trusted with someone’s home. I’m highly independent and organized, with plenty of experience adapting to new spaces thanks to my travels. I’m also communicative and dependable - you’ll never have to wonder how things are going! I provide updates and photos.

Whether it’s caring for the little details or simply being a respectful guest in your space, I take the responsibility seriously and always aim to leave things better than I found them.
