About this sitter
I am 68, very healthy, and have been brought up in the countryside, and have always enjoyed beautiful homes. My father was a very successful city businessman and I have had a career as a self employed man as an architect, Fleet Street artist, racing/rally driver, car dealer specialising in Porsche and classic cars, property developer, and interests in other businesses. I am public school educated (Stowe) and have travelled a lot for pleasure and business.
We have been responsible for looking after many beautiful homes over the last few years and would always welcome new opportunities and experiences to care for others. I love all animals and I was brought up on a farm, so I appreciate rural situations. We are animal lovers and have been blessed with looking after some wonderful homes.
My wife is a health consultant. We are both very caring and tidy people who neither smoke nor drink, and like to think that the returning owners are always happy with what we have done for them.

We like housesitting to experience new areas of the countryside and the world and the ambiance of different homes of quality that we always so enjoy.

What can they bring to the assignment
I can bring years of experience of being associated with beautiful homes and the love of animals. I have designed several expensive homes and only recently lived in a lovely 300yr old farmhouse which I doubled in size from a small cottage in Dorset. I can drive. I am sympathetic to the needs of lovely homes.

Housesitting
Nick, looked after our home and animals really well. House and animals all clean and happy on our return from holiday and we would certainly recommend him as a house sitter and will hopefully use him in the future. He was mindful of our wishes and a good listener and communicated any issues he had well.

Nick and Maria travelled with their dog, Zoe, and a friend (who makes the most AMAZING curry) to care for our cats, chickens and house over Christmas and the New Year. They were respectful of our home and we came back to a clean and tidy house, happy pets and a welcome meal. They are a fun, interesting bunch, warm and friendly, who we enjoyed meeting and spending time with while they were with us.

Outstanding
Nick and Maria surpassed all our expectations, they looked after our precious pets and our house better than we could and would strongly recommend them, and would not hesitate to engage them again on our next travels. The animals were in wonderful condition and I am sure they were sorry to see them leave. On top of this they are delightful people.

Great house sitters
Nick and his Wife were with us for 2 weeks in the Pyrenees to look after the house and animals. We are so happy to have had them, lovely couple, very interesting, and really respectful to our house and the needs it has. They brought their dog with the who was lovely and made great friends with our JRs . They looked after our dogs so well, feeding them and walking them taking them on trips out and about. They were sad to see them leave. We have no hesitation in recommending Nick, Mascha, Zoe to house sit your property anytime. We won't need to advertise again, we have sitters for life!
