About this sitter
For the 15 years or more have been sailing yachts also assisting other boat owners who needed crew.
I need and enjoy the change of location and interests to keep me active etc.
Prior to retirement that I worked in construction industry(30 years) in many European countries.
Why they want to house sit
I am very fit and well with no health problems. also get on well with all animals and able to look after gardens etc,
When first retired I sailed Atlantic (Columbus 500 year anniversary race) and then sailed in the Caribbean for 6-years.When finished with sailing,lived for 4/6 months at a time in Clearwater Florida in the winters to get away from the cold of the Europe.

Have lived and worked in many different countries always renting houses looking after them as I would my own.Very confident looking after any animals, and good at any DIY jobs and gardens etc. Over the last 2-years have had assignments House sitting in the following: 2-months in Bequia (Caribbean), 2- months in France (Brassac) 6-weeks Greece(Kalamata), 5- months Bulgaria (Stara Zagora area)
3-months France( 50 Kl west La Rochelle).
What can they bring to the assignment
A healthy body and mind that gets on with dogs/cats and will have no problems with doing small jobs to keep a house clean, together with any kind of work the garden, painting etc,
Have been on MMH web site many years(15) with great success in Europe & Caribbean.
Available for short or long term at 2 to 4+ weeks notice.

Two weeks in Edmondthorpe UK
Philip house sat for us for 2 weeks in June 2022. We have an old terrier and a puppy lurcher and 2 tortoises. We asked Philip to take care of them and also to water the garden. Philip is a delightful man who has lived an amazing life all over the world and on the seas. He is Rugby mad! He looked after everything beautifully and the dogs loved him. He very kindly drove us to the station extremely early in the morning and collected us when we got back which was hugely helpful. He watered the garden perfectly. Thank you Philip.

One noble guy
He was a very noble (as the name suggests) gentleman, and very active as well... looking after my home and my two precious little dogs very well. Always answering my queries in regards to the dogs and keeping me updated as well as keeping the house in good order and clean. In summary, a reliable and trustworthy guy.

A lovely man
Phil sat for us for over 6 weeks he did a fantastic job looking after our cat, chickens, garden and house. He was easy with everything we asked and kept us informed while we were away. He is a lovely man, young at heart, kind and and totally trustworthy what else do you need in a house sitter.

Phil is a treasure! He kept in regular contact before, during and after his stay at my French house, was friendly, helpful and completely honest in every way. He got on fantastically with the neighbours, looked after the animals conscientiously, kept the house immaculate and did all sorts of odd jobs around the place….. nothing was too much trouble. House sit from 2019
Phil is very fit and active and looked after our house and garden for several months in 2019 whilst we were away working. He integrated well into our local British expat community and we believe he enjoyed his time here, especially going to the many rugby matches in the area! The house and garden were kept tidy and we were happy with the house sit on our return.
