About this assignment
We are looking for someone who likes cats and dogs and who will leave the house in the same state as when they got here. Just be responsible.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed the cat and fish. Walk the puppy and play with her. Cuddle the cat and puppy. Leave the house in the same state you left it.
What are the good features of the property and location
The size of the house is 300sq. meters. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, towels, sheets and basically everything you need to live and cook comfortably. We live about 10km from the North Sea. We have a yard and very nice neighbors to whom you can address any questions that you have about the property.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We're pretty easy-going and have no special requests. Most guests that we have are very comfortable here and if anything comes up during your stay, we are easily reachable by phone. Our neighbors will also be happy to help you out.

Wonderful hosts - open minded, communicative and with the coolest cat ever
Sarah and her family opened their home to me to look after their cat during their holidays. I saw her post here, and contacted her, as I wanted to work from another country for a few weeks, and practise my German. She replied quickly, and we had a nice chat per Skype, and a few weeks later I also Skyped with her partner. Besides from being very open and trusting to share their home, they are also great conversation partners, and live an inspiring and flexible lifestyle. It was easy to stay in touch with them for anything I would need during my stay, and they had prepared everything perfectly to take care of cat and house. Their cat is a one-of-a-kind with lots of personality. Lucky for me, she was very cuddly and communicative as well, so after only a few days together, cat and I were into a good routine. I still miss her, and would love to catsit for them again :)
