A non-smoking animal lover/(s) who would enjoy taking my Boxer for walks, as well as taking care of my 2 cats.
The animals are used to a quiet household without children, so a single house sitter. or couple would be best.
Lola needs approximately 1/1 ½ hours exercise a day, although now she's 11yrs old she's beginning to slow down a bit due to a touch of arthritis. This is easily done if you take her to play with her friends in her usual haunts, about a 5 minute walk from the house. She will then happily potter about the garden on and off during the rest of the day. She enjoys going out in the car for both short and long journeys and is a good traveller, so would enjoy exploring new places, but is equally happy walking locally. Lola is crate trained and still sleeps in it at night but can happily be left for short periods of time in the lounge/kitchen/ conservatory area
The cats need feeding and a litter tray cleaning out as necessary. My male cat has recently been diagnosed with kidney disease so requires ½ a blood pressure tablet each day. He is a very gentle cat so there isn't a problem giving him his medication so don't worry about that. There is a cat flap so they can let themselves in and out.
I have a gardener who will let himself in each week to cut the grass etc. I have a greenhouse with tomato plants in that will need watering but you would be welcome to eat any ripe ones, only fair exchange! In dry weather I have some planters that may need watering.
I live in a 3 bedroomed, detached house, with a very secluded garden at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Cheadle Hulme. There is a new kitchen, downstairs shower and w.c as well as a lovely conservatory from which you can enjoy the garden, with both seating and a table and chairs. The village is a 5 minute walk away and has a variety of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, a library and small theatre. There are excellent transport links to the surrounding areas by either train or bus.
Cheadle Hulme is situated in the beautiful county of Cheshire which contains many nearby beauty spots and National Trust properties which are well worth a visit . There is a grade 1 property, Bramhall Hall, approximately only a 15/20 minute walk from the house.
Cheadle Hulme is on the edge of the Peak District, approximately 30 minutes away by car.
Manchester International airport is only approximately 20 minutes away by car.
I am looking for someone who would enjoy exercising my dog and keeping both her and my cats company, although they are used to being left alone for short periods of time.
I will be flying out on Monday 1st September, returning on Monday 22nd September, arriving back in the early hours of Tuesday morning. I would need you to arrive a day earlier so as to show you the animals routines.
No, sorry.

Thank you
Nice easy relaxing few weeks looking after Lola the boxer dog and the two almost identical black cats. They were no trouble at all and we managed to get a few days out in the spell of warm weather, to visit some Castles and points of interest. Nice comfortable accommodation and facilities.

It was a treat to take her for walks so she could go visiting..the two sweet cat's were a pleasure to play with and have them come and sleep with me and of course let me know when it was feeding time.. Sarah was wonderful, to introduce me to a few friends and family was much appreciated it was nice to a contact especially after a few days of rainy weather.i highly recommend a sit for Sarah if you are given the opportunity then neighborhood is so convenient for everything and anything you would want. Thanks Sarah for opening your beautiful home
