About this assignment

We are looking for someone who is mature, responsible and resourceful. Our ideal house sitter loves animals and will prioritize the care of our cat and house. You will treat our home with care and respect, and feel comfortable and confident troubleshooting issues as they arise.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our house sitter will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy home, and caring for our cat, including feeding, litter changing, etc. You would also be responsible for keeping the house clean and secure, bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, and minor pool maintenance (for a very small pool).

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is situated in Albuquerque's North Valley, close to Los Ranchos, Corrales, Downtown and highways. From our home, you are just minutes away from some of Albuquerque's best features including Old Town, local wineries and farms, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and Nob Hill. Our home is spacious with an outdoor oasis that includes an outdoor kitchen, dining table for up to 8 people, a cozy seating area with a fireplace and water feature, and cocktail pool that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The cocktail pool (7' x 11' X ') is a great place for up to 4 people to cool off with a cocktail in the summer or warm up in the winter.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We expect house sitters to put the care of our cat first, and the security of our home. We expect our cat to be in the home in the evenings with a human so house sitters should plan on spending every night in our home while they are house sitting.
