House Sit in Yellow Point, Vancouver Island

About this assignment

I have a three small goats. I am looking for someone who is mature and comfortable around goats. Cleaning up after yourself is all that's needed besides caring for the goats.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The animals need to be fed in the morning, let out onto the field, and brought in at dinner time. Replace the shavings once or twice a week.

What are the good features of the property and location

It is a rural property. The neighbourhood is quiet. There is a nice beach one kilometer down the road. There are many hiking trails around Nanaimo and Ladysmith. Mount Washington is an hour and a half away for downhill or cross country skiing. Victoria is also one and a half hours away. A grocery store is five minutes away, and there is a lovely old English style pub nearby. A car is necessary.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

There is no bus service to our property. It may snow while you're here. You will have a wood burning fireplace, and our friends may be contacted for support with any problems that may arise.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: No smoking.
