About this assignment
I’m looking for trustworthy and experienced sitter with good knowledge of handling large dogs, to keep company to my 2 dogs ; thai mix girl Lily 4 and Boerboel Kingston 2,5 yo. Kingston can be suspicious of strangers at first but after he gets to know you
he is the sweetest affectionate boy. He will need dog sitters that are confident with him and are comfortable handling a large, powerful breeds like the Boerboel. My travel dates are from January 14th to 30th 2024 . Testimonials must.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
I would like someone who could spend as much as possible time with my dogs. Kingston and Lily are not used to be on their own more than 5-6 hours a day.

Spacious 2 bedroom private pool villa,surrounded by lush tropical vegetation amidst the hills of Saiyoi forest near Khao-Lak ( 15 min drive ) You need a car or motorbike to get by. Safety:

Tsunami-safe property (20 to 55m above sea level).
Comfort:
Comfortable pool villa away from the crowds, yet close to the beach.
Tropical recreation area providing a scenic walk.
Only 45 minutes from Phuket international airport.
Only 15 minutes to Khao-Lak center.
Only 10 minutes to nearest golf course.
Local fishing village nearby.
4 atmospheric waterfalls in immediate proximity.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
I prefer dog sitter with previous experience on house-sitting and big dogs. My dogs are not used to kids, so this sit it’s not a good fit for families. Someone who enjoy spending time with my dogs at home. Testimonials must.

Delightful stay in Heidi's little corner of paradise
It was a pleasure sitting for Heidi. She was welcoming from the start and communicated efficiently. She shared many local pointers and made sure we were comfortable in the house before she left. She introduced us to Kingston and Lily, which we very much enjoyed spending time with. They are both so gentle and well behaved, time flew right by. The house is charming, fully equipped and located in a quiet neighbourhood walking distance to the beach. We will miss the spectacular sunsets and peacefulness of the surroundings. We very much enjoyed this stay and hope to have the opportunity to come back!

Great fortnight with three doggies!
It was a real joy to be allowed to do this sit. the location was perfect, just 5 minutes from a delightful beach, the house and environment were superb. the garden was green and peaceful, the house modern and comfortable. A lovely dipping pool was definitely the cherry on top for me! I was looking after three very different dogs, that's Kingston, large young whelp checking in at 55kg. He was a bundle of clumsy joy. Then there was Indi, a very affectionate Pit Bull type, she craved cuddles and loved her daily walks. Finally, Lily, she of boundless energy, I walked her twice a day and really she could have gone for hours. This sit would not be suitable for people with mobility issues or who for whatever reason might not be able to engage with strong and outgoing dogs. But all genuine dog lovers will love these guys and feel so rewarded having spent time with them in such a great place. Totally recommended.

A lovely home with great pets
It was a real pleasure to be asked to take care of Heidi’s lovely home and pets in a really cool area in Phuket. Heidi collected us from the airport and introduced us to Diego, Indie and Toto we were given a full orientation of her home and local area and were given written instructions to follow, Heidi’s home is very nice, modern and well equipped it has everything you need along with a nice garden with seating area and pool, which is great for hot afternoons and balmy evenings. The neighbours and locals are very friendly we stopped for many a chat on our walks We both completely fell in love with all 3 of these good natured dogs, they are all very different characters, they were great fun to take out walking and swimming at the beach, the dogs are all “ people dogs “they relish human company and all love pampering and plenty of belly rubs, Heidi has done a great job with these 3 rescue pups they are very gentle and loving pups. The local area has many bars and restaurants within minutes walk, it is very cheap to eat out locally and sample some real authentic Thai cooking, although we had the use of a car we often walked down to the boat avenue area where you can find western style supermarkets, coffee shops and sports bars. We explored most of the island in our spare time and had great fun visiting a couple of elephant sanctuaries,Big Buddha and the Patong beach area. In summary Heidi is a lovely considerate animal loving home owner who supports local animal charities such as Phuket dog pound and a nearby elephant sanctuary, her home is very comfortable neat and modern the area is buzzy and vibrant it was a perfect sit we had regular messaging communication we hope to return some day Thanks Heidi.....big love to you all Laraine and Ged xxx
