Looking for home and animal sitter (3 ponies and 2 cats) in Greece for one week from 29th September 2024

About this assignment

I am looking for somebody, who like to enjoy a relaxing time in Greece on the mainland, just 2 minutes from the Amvrakian Gulf. You should like to stay in an area outside from a village.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The cats and the ponies need to get twice a day (morning and afternoon/evening) food and you take care, that they have always water. It would be great, if you could the horse shit from the paddock, but it is not a must to do. You don't need experience with horses, just to have a good feeling for animals and don't be afraid for horses (they are very friendly and shy around strangers). The cats and the ponies doesn't need something special like medication etc.

What are the good features of the property and location

My home is in an area of farmers, ideal for walks in a beautiful landscape. It is very quiet, but you can walk in 3, 4 minutes to a greek coffeeshop and a restaurant. That's local places and you can eat and drink really cheap. The next small town, where you get everything, is 8 minutes away by car. You can swim in the gulf, which ist 2 minutes by foot away. Beautiful beaches on the Ionian Sea you can reach in 10 and 15 minutes by car. Nearby are historical sights and great excursion destinations. The next airport (Preveza) is just 20 minutes by car away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

To rent a car is necessary, if you want to see more than the area around my place. Also just for shopping it's better to have it. My tiny house is just for two people. But if you want to come with friends, 50 meters from my place there is a house to rent for a little money.
