1 eight year old dog in good health. Friendly, lively, responsive to a firm voice.
I’ve broken my ankle and am wondering if there is anybody, or a couple who would be willing to come and stay and help me. I am a naturally independent person, who normally enjoys living alone, but find myself challenged by this situation.
Giving me general help, an hour to an hour and a half a day, preferably in two parts, walking a dog twice a day, gardening if the house sitter wishes.
I’m surrounded by good friends, who will shop for me, and give me general help.
I live in a wonderfully friendly village, with a bar. The village is in the middle of beautiful countryside. The Pyrenees are easily accessible for day trips. There are accessible, interesting historical villages and towns. Three local markets within 15-17km.
There is a lake 15km away where you can swim. My nearest town with trainstation, bus etc, is 20km, the nearest supermarket 6km. Older automatic, excellent condition BMW available for use.
I’m not sure, what you’d need to ask me. My house has all mod cons, but is not posh! There is no central heating. The house is clean and reasonably tidy, but not pristine. The dog is never allowed upstairs. There are three double bedrooms, lounge, study, kitchen diner, a pleasant garden, with sun and shade, good WiFi, computer, telephone, with free calls to the U.K.. I can supply references.
Yes
Restrictions: Not cats as my dog would want to chase them

Absolutely Wonderful
We loved our house sitting assignment at Karenza’s. Karenza was extremely welcoming and made you feel very relaxed to be there. We enjoyed our meals together and interesting conversations. Karenza’s hospitality was hard to beat. Nino the dog was a loveable character who loved his walks. It was an absolute pleasure to look after him. The area is amazing with lots of beautiful countryside and small villages to see. We would love to come back again in the future.
