Someone who will enjoy staying in my house, who will look after it and who also likes cats and dogs. Maybe someone on their own or a couple.
To look after the house, the plants in the garden and my cat, Scout, aged 11 and dogs, Reggie aged 7 and Vanilla aged 12.Scout is not a house cat, but comes and goes when she wants and is very sociable whilst Reggie and Vanilla love company. Also, to visit my partner’s house regularly in Bath just over a mile away to feed her cat, Sasha.
Modern (2011) but built in keeping with older properties, split level with 2 good double bedrooms, 1 bedroom/study, 2 bathrooms and downstairs wc, living room, kitchen and private, courtyard, back garden, gas central heating and its own parking space in front of the house. Located in Larkhall village on the eastern side of Bath with easy access out of Bath and only 25 minutes walk from the city centre although there is a regular bus service as well. The village has a number of independent shops, 3 pubs, a supermarket and even a theatre. The river and canal are not far away with access into the centre of Bath too and many nice walks including up to Solsbury Hill.
Are they willing to commit to the period stated, in a place like Bath, and do they like cats and dogs and are willing to look after them as well
No, sorry.

Beautiful Bath Dogs/Cat Sit
Had the best time looking after the dogs Reggie and Vanilla, and Scout the cat in this loveliest of cities. Nick and Catherine were very welcoming, full of local information, and showed me the best walks for the dogs. Both dogs are friendly, especially Vanilla the Lab who will keep close by. Scout is happy to spend time with you and will keep your feet warm in bed. Nick lives in a quirky tall, narrow house within walking distance of great parks and bus stops if you don't feel like tackling the hills. But the views on the high path into the city are definitely worth the climb. And did I mention the shows, galleries and museums. Highly recommended.

Wonderful sit with Reggie and Scout
Nick's house is a beautiful attached home 30 minutes walk from the downtown center of Bath. There are many hikes within walking distance that offer stunning vantage points of the area, such as Solsbury Hill and the Skyline trail. The house is also within 5 minutes walk of a co-op supermarket which provides most basic amenities that you might need to cook with. The surrounding town of Larkhall is residential and classically appealing and we greatly enjoyed our walks with Reggie everyday. Reggie is a handsome lurcher who does not bark and has plenty of energy and affection towards people. He loves playing with his toys and doing sprints but, after some exercise, he is also very relaxed and sweet. Scout, who will come out of hiding once Reggie is not around, is also very affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality but is low maintenance and only needs to be fed, have her fountain filled, and shown some love each night before bedtime. Nick is quick to respond to any messages or questions, had great instructions prepared for us, and was very easy to get along with. We had a great experience with him, with Reggie and Scout, and with our time in Bath. We would highly recommend anyone looking at a sit for Nick in the future to do so!
