Wonderful Home & Family

Today we completed a two week house sit at Sandra and Joe’s and we’re feeling rejuvenated! Their home in the countryside surrounded by nature and the hills of Co.Wexford is tranquil and pretty special. Our daughters connected right away and have exchanged numbers to stay in touch. We will miss Keiser and Alfie, their two dogs who were always lovable, jolly and playful. Plus they are great guard dogs! We took turns feeding the hens, chickens, pigeons and fish and it was a joy to check for freshly laid eggs each morning. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, hiking or cycling. A must visit is Curracloe beach (45 minute drive away) the infamous film set for Steven Spielberg’s ‘Saving Private Ryan.’ The beach is stunning and was a highlight of our trip. Another must see is Hook Lighthouse (80 minute drive) the worlds oldest intact working Lighthouse with spectacular views of the Celtic and Atlantic seas. Thank you Sandra, Joe & family for welcoming us to our very first house sit, what a wonderful experience it was. Melissa, Oscar & Liliana :)
