Looking for a respectful, reliable and trustworthly relaxed couple, comunicative and easy going, with previous experience in house-sit and affectionate and sincere respect for pets.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Main responsability taking care of a small old dog (visually impaired), a cat, 4 hens and a gold fish, clean up after yourself- Water house plants, water vegetables in garden (during summertime only).
What are the good features of the property and location
Our house is quite large, indipendent and totally fenced, with a garden + veggies garden. We have internet connection and wi-fi.
The village of Pagnacco is at 15 minutes walk (Supermarket, bank, post, pharmacy, newspapers, street market once a week) or 5 minutes by bike.
The Udine town centre is at 20 minutes drive by car or by pubblic transport (Bus).
Fresh eggs every and vegetables from the garden at your disposal.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Respect of our house and the property and accessories, no smoking inside the house, keep an eye around property, the pets are well taken care of.

Friendly family, most relaxing house sit!
We spent an 8-day housesit in the house of Federica, her husband Gianluca and their two daughters. First of all, Federica is a professional in communication, be it even via email or messenger apps, or any written form. She is super responsive, very precise, she gave us very informative explanations on every task and our to-dos prior to our arrival, she even prepared for us a written list of helpful information. The family's super cute dog is Lapo, whom we really fell in love with. Regularly, twice a day we went for long walks with Lapo dog into and around the village, mostly we preferred landside routes nearby. He is precious, a good walker and well-behaving dog, a good company to walk around, easy to manage and no hassle at all. We also looked after three chickens, a big black lazy cat and a golden fish – really not a big deal to feed them regularly. And what a surprise, hens provide fresh eggs every day! The house is more than comfortable. Our sleeping place was prepared in the living-room. We found the house, rooms, kitchen and the bathroom fully cleaned on our arrival. I can say, we had the feeling that just a holiday begins in a 5-star airbnb. And that was the truth! We loved to spend not only dining's time in the large, comfortable and very well-equipped kitchen, an ideal place for cooking some special Italian dinner. During our sit, we did some trips of even up to 6-8 hours to visit cities in the region nearby: Udine, Venice, Venzone and of course to go for buying some delicious "prosciutto" of San Daniele town. We would never hesitate to get back and we hope to visit Federica's family soon again, definitely, we would love to sit their house and pets again anytime in the future.

Wonderful Family
Diane and I had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Friuli area of Northeastern Italy. The rural country setting was refreshing , but only a few minutes drive to shops. The house is spacious and set on a large lot abundant with fresh vegetables and fruit in the garden, in season. The views from the verandas are splendid. We had wonderful short day trips into Venice, Slovenia and Austria through the Alps, along with trips to nearby historic villages. What a wonderful family! Federica and Gialuca are accomplished cooks. They prepared a beautiful meal for our arrival. Their two teenage daughters are kind and great conversationalists. We look forward to a time we can revisit or they visit us in the USA. Their chihuahua was fun to walk each day—what a loving boy. Their kitty is friendly and enjoys company. As a bonus, there are two chickens that provide fresh eggs each day.

Had a great time in Pagnacco
With Federica and her family, we experienced the pleasure of a very warm-hearted welcome upon our arrival - we had a delicious dinner together before their departure in the morning and talked about nearby things to see and possible activities to do during our holidays. The pets are absolutely adorable and quite easy to handle - Lapo really loves his walks! We certainly consider visiting again should we have the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings in a different season and as well to meet Federica & family again!

Sympathique famille, agréable maison et adorables animaux !
Nous avons passé 17 jours chez Federica, Gianluca et leurs deux filles. Nous avons été accueillis comme des amis, la confiance s'est installée très rapidement entre nous. Leurs animaux sont adorables, attachant et faciles à garder. Lapo le chien et Milli la chatte étaient très câlins tout en sachant être indépendants. Lapo aime les promenades, il est très obéissant. Les poules sont des pondeuses. Nous avons eu le plaisir de déguster de bons œufs frais et des tomates toutes fraîches cueillies au jardin. Cirro, le poisson rouge viendra vous dire un petit "bonjour" (ou plutôt un "Ciao" puisqu'il est italien) au bord de son bocal. Que vous parliez italien, français, anglais, allemand, cela n'a pas d'importance puisque Federica parle bien toutes ces langues. C'est un atout très appréciable. Nous sommes restés en contact tout le long de leur absence, c'est très rassurant. Merci encore à cette sympathique famille de nous avoir fait confiance. Grâce à eux nous avons connu un petit coin d'Italie que nous ne connaissions pas encore.

Super nice family with a cute dog and cat
We house sat for Federica and her family early July this year. The house is very spacious and has 2 level which was nice during the hot days. There is a separate guest room available which is very convenient. Their dog Lapo is very sweet and easy to handle. He will give you the puppy eyes a lot. Millie, the cat, was also very sweet. After a day of being shy she came around and asked for cuddles. I have not so much experiences with chickens but they were very easy to take care of as they know their schedules. Federica took her time on the first evening to show us which plants should be water and where to find the proper equipment. The neighbor hood is very quite and relaxed. The family made dinner for us the first evening before leaving for their vacation which was super nice, they and their daughters are very lovely people.

Most incredible housesit!
My husband and I spent 20 days in Friuli house sitting for Federica, Gianluca and their two awesome girls. This was an absolute dream! The house is gorgeous as are the surroundings and more importantly, the pets we cared for are absolutely precious. Lapo, the family’s dog, is the happiest, most incredible little guy and we enjoyed his company so so much. He is super calm, a total sweet-heart and we loved his company so much we took him on several trips to waterfalls, parks and small villages. Millie, the cat, mostly keeps to herself but she comes around for food and a few cuddles. The fish and the hens were super nice also - and fresh eggs everyday is a treat! As well as the easy-kept garden which treated us to lots of tomatoes and tasty herbs among other fresh goodies. Federica walked us through everything before they left for vacation and we felt super comfortable and confident with the housesit all the way through. Moreover, we had the pleasure of meeting their neighbor, Ketty, who is likewise so nice and we enjoyed speaking with her when we ran into her. Overall, beautiful house, beautiful garden, the most welcoming and heartwarming family and pets. We would definitely housesit for Federica again! And we already miss Lapo :-)

A wonderful house-sit and a beautiful family
We were lucky enough to house-sit for Frederica, Gian-Luca and their two lovely daughters whilst they holidayed in Rome. From the very first moment we met, the whole family was welcoming and kind, hosting us in their home for a few days before they left and for a day after they returned home. Their house is a big, comfortable house in the lovely village of Pagnacco. Lapo the dog is a cute and funny little guy who loves to chase the ball and hang out with the humans. Millie the cat is a mysterious girl who hangs around in the garden and lets you know when she is hungry, and Chirro the goldfish is no trouble at all. Frederica, Gian-Luca and the girls made us feel right at home and we had a great two and a half weeks house-sitting-they kindly allowed us to use the bikes so we could ride into the village for great coffees, pizza and gelato, and we enjoyed spending time in the garden and gazing at the beautiful view of the Alps. If you are lucky enough to be able to house-sit for Frederica and Gian-Luca, grab the opportunity with both hands-you won’t regret it! We hope that they can one day make it to Australia and that we will see them again. We will always remember our time in Pagnacco with this great family.

Housesitting for a big house, a little dog, a flushy cat and a quiet fish
I had a great time, taking care of the house and the pets of Federica and Gianluca and their two daughters. I felt very welcome and enjoyed the stay and the delicious meals, they cooked for me before they left. The house is big and comfortable with a fenced, large garden around. It is a quiet and peaceful place. Nevertheless the public transport by bus to Udine is pretty comfortable. From Udine one can reach further places by train. Moreover I could use one family bike to go round the village. I discovered the nice area around with Lapo, their little affectionate dog, who likes long walks as well as his daily ball games, he never gets tired of. Millie, the cat was often hidden somewhere in the garden, but she enjoyed the cuddles, when she was fed. Thank you very much for my Italian experience in the Friaul area and for the warm hospitality.
