About this assignment
We are looking for a trustworthy, reliable, competent and experienced house sitter who will look after our family.
We are looking for someone who will care for our animals as we do
References are required.
Non smoker.
We would hope to find house sitters who would be available three or four times throughout the year for periods ranging from long weekends to three or four weeks
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Our treasured family is made up of a four year old pug, a fifteen year old colour point british cat and two new british shorthair kittens.
Hugo has two walks a day round the village but NEVER off the lead.
We will leave details of their feeding regime
As well as looking after the family we would like our sitter to take care of the house and some watering in the garden/greenhouse if required.
What are the good features of the property and location
The house is a modern comfortable, single storey detached house.
The rear garden area is completely enclosed making it safe for our family. As the kittens will still be young and curious we would never leave them in the garden unattended.
We are two miles from St.Andrews.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Our potential sitter would need to be able to drive / have a car.
We could give the sitter the use of one of our cars. It is a manual gear box.
Experience in sitting for pugs would be an advantage!
If our sitter was local(ish) to us we would like to meet prior to the assignment.
Can I bring my own pets?

George and Alan are warm , caring and friendly people who bent backwards to make you feel at home.George certainly knows his way around St Andrews . He is quite a historian. There is plenty to do and explore in the surrounding areas, many little quirky fishing villages., St Andrews not far at all , . Fife is beautiful ! We would recommend this house sit .
