What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is located in a small, historic coastal village in mid-coast Maine. There are 2-wooded acres with invisible fencing for our 2 English Setters. There is neighborhood access to our cove via a shared dock. Our home has 8-rooms, as well as a separate guest suite with its own bathroom and shower, on the lower level. The village community welcomes many summer residents who enjoying sailing, boating, hiking, and relaxing in the beauty of the Blue Hill Peninsula. Some of the summer residents have enjoyed our town for generations. Our dutch bicycles and plastic kayaks are available for your use while here.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The summer population of the village is about 1400. While there are a couple of convenience stores, the nearest supermarket is 15- miles away. More specifically, our historic village is a destination, and not one that is usually explored as a matter of happenstance. People arrive here because they have chosen to drive the scenic coastal route along the Northern Bay in Penobscot.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
