Bringing home owners and house sitters together
Two gorgeous cats need cuddles and love in scenic part of North West England . We are regular owners with references and have a lovely home to offer the right person or couple.

About this assignment
A reliable trustworthy person or couple who loves animals and is happy to maintain our home whilst we take vacations .
We regularly take vacations. We are currently looking for an ideal person or couple to care for our lovely, soft adorable cats and 6 cheeky chickens whilst we holiday without leaving our precious pets home alone.
We are looking for a person or couple and especially like people like more mature sitters but would consider the right younger sitter.
We are looking for someone /couple with a genuine love of cats.
Simba and Nala love human interaction .
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding the cats. Ensuring they are properly cared for .
Stroking the cats , getting them in for the night is essential .
Looking after the home . Day to day care.
Feeding our chickens. We have 7 but they are in their own run and are very easy to maintain. They do need their house cleaning out once a week.
What are the good features of the property and location
The views from the house are breathtaking.
Our home is spacious and well maintained.
It has wifi and a smart TV.
It is close to a very popular village centre.
We have good neighbours.
The village is considered a local beauty spot.
There are excellent opportunities for walking and cycling .
We have 2 adult bikes . 1 male . 1 female.
The house is abutting farm land and has a very rural feel to it.
Manchester city centre / airport is in easy reach via an excellent cheap train service .
Our animals are fabulous.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Our cats are very sociable and do like to interact with the house sitters.
This is a non smoking house .
We would like to “meet” the sitters before the sitting commences but initially we could do this on zoom.
We like to see proof of ID and flight if applicable .
We would be willing to send you ours too.
We would prefer house sitters who are seeking to enjoy the experience rather than the payment .
A car is not essential as there is a good bus route nearby,(5/10 minute walk away ) but obviously one may be useful for convenience.
Can I bring my own pets?

Lovable cats in Saddleworth
I had the pleasure of spending a few weeks in Angie and Clints cosy home in the heart of Saddleworth moors over the winter. I received a really warm welcome and although it was winter, the house was lovely and warm with beautiful views over the moors. The chickens were great little characters and most of all, Simba and Nala were so affectionate and easy to care for. It was a real pleasure to spend time with them. There was lots of walking in the area and near to villages and shops and also many buses. Would happily return and highly recommend.

Lovely home and cats
I spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at Angie and Clints home looking after gorgeous Nala, Simba and the chicken family! Angie and Clint made me feel very at home and left clear instructions. I had my own Ensuite and room with amazing views. The area is very picturesque with good walking but close to amenities and within 30 mins of manchester on the train. I very much enjoyed this house sit and hope to be back. Would recommend to others.

Wonderful place, people and pets
We met and house-sat for Angie and Clint two years ago, and are currently in their home for a repeat. They are delightful friends, and we are thankful that their wonderful friendship has continued to this time. Simba and Nala are great cats, and we consider them friends as well. The chickens were rescued from an egg processing plants and are the picture of health now, in their happy home in the backyard. The house has an amazing view of the countryside and moors around us. We love looking out the window. There is nothing but good to say about this sit. All who come here will feel as blessed as we do. Susan

Creature Comforts
I just completed a sit for Angie and Clint and it was my very first sit for a non-relative. It was an amazing experience. Angie and Clint made me feel so welcome in their home and their home was comfortable and cozy. Their two beautiful cats, Simba and Nala, were precious - soft, cuddly, and full of personality. The chickens were fun to care for - Sylvestor, Fluffy, Amber, Violet, and the Squawker Sisters (3 of them) - hardy little birds and easy to care for. The location was perfect for exploring with ease of transport via bus or train. I loved my time and the friendship we've developed is quite precious. If you get an opportunity to love on Simba, Nala, and the chickens, take it! You will be better for it.

Gorgeous pussy cats
We looked after Simba and Nala in December 2017 and fell in love. They are the sweetest cats ever with lovely personalities. Angie and Clint made us very welcome in their home. We were picked up from the train station and given a lovely meal on our first night. The house is very comfortable and even though we had lots of snow it was nice and warm in the house. The chickens were easy to look after too. We would highly recommend a housesit for Angie and Clint. The area is lovely, lots of places to explore and transport is handy. We feel like we have new friends and hope we see them again sometime.

Highly recommended
It started with the fact that Angie remembered from the year before, how much we had wanted to house sit in England and contacted us to give us this opportunity. Second we were greeting so warmly and comfortably by Angie and Clint right from the start. Third, wonderful home, wonderful pets. It all added up to a wonderful, treasured experiences with a lifelong friendship. Yes. I highly recommend them to anyone lucky enough to get to know this fine couple.
