House/Dog Sitter wanted near Cape Cod!

About this assignment

Seeking a responsible, considerate dog-sitter who is interested in a week-long stay in Massachusetts this summer with two 15-year old Westies and a 6-year-old Boston lab. I would love to find someone who will treat my home and my pups like their own!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter will be responsible for feeding the dogs and ensuring that they go out in the fenced-in back yard when needed. The dogs are very healthy and active.. they enjoy walks and snuggling but are fairly low energy/low maintenance. The house sitter will also be asked to keep the house in order (as though it was your own).

What are the good features of the property and location

I think you'll love my 3 bedroom, 3 bath home just 25-30 minutes to Cape Cod! The home has a hardwood floors throughout, a gas fireplace, granite countertops, big fenced in backyard with deck and above-ground pool and fire pit, 2-car garage, washer/dryer in the basement. My neighbors are also amazing and available, if needed. If you don't want to make the drive to the Cape, Mattapoisett has several town beaches just down the street! There are also various hiking trails to enjoy. Mattapoisett is also 30 minutes to Plymouth; 40 minutes to Providence and Newport, R.I. and an hour to Boston if you’re looking to experience some of MA and RI’s most popular destinations.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

House sitters must be comfortable with sitting for 3 dogs and must be willing to respect and care for the home as though it is their own. My house is located in a residential
area about 8-10 minutes from
shopping centers. There is not public transportation other than Uber/Lift so a car would be ideal for housesitters.
