About this assignment

I am looking for a single woman or couple to house and pet sit my two cats 3/1-15 2025 while I am away on a shoulder season vacation

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities include feeding, watering cats and playing with them as necessary. Panther (the black cat) is just a year old and loves to play, Sweetie (with the blue eyes) is 6, she's pretty chill but likes attention. Other cat chores include everyone's favorite, cleaning the litter box and I would really appreciate a daily report by text or email with photos on how things are going with the Kitties.

What are the good features of the property and location

My house is located downtown so food and shopping is close and there is also a scenic walking/bike path to enjoy. Cross country skiing is a good bet in March as are some hikes to the north and west in the desert. The Black canyon of the Gunnison is a favorite, Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction, the charming old mining town of Ouray is a 50 minute drive and a bit farther, the world class ski resort town of Telluride.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The main thing to consider is how you're going to get here and how you will get around because I will have my car. I do have a garage which is nice.
