About this assignment

I am looking for someone respectful and calm, who will appreciate the peaceful family neighborhood despite being in central Budapest, 20 minutes away by bus from the main tourist attractions. Either a single person or a couple would be a great fit. We do have two bedrooms available. The building is largely occupied by families, so it is essential that our house-sitter lives a quiet and respectful lifestyle.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Your primary responsibility would be to provide care and affection for our friendly cat. She loves to play and snuggle, and we couldn't stand the thought of boarding her for the summer. That is the main reason we would like someone to come stay in our apartment. Other than that, watering a few plants, treating the space like home and keeping it clean and tidy are your only responsibilities.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our apartment is fully renovated and modern, with high ceilings and large windows that let in tons of sunlight from the park across the street. There is A/C as well all in-home appliances (including washer and dryer). We are located at the edge of Buda’s district 12 and district 2, a very desirable location.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We need someone who can commit to be present the whole 3 week period (June 31 - July 20). If you are respectful of the space we have lovingly cultivated into home and have positive energy you will be a great fit!
