3 weeks in Gascony

About this assignment

A responsible, practical person or couple to look after our two cats and 7 chickens for 3 weeks in May. We are looking for someone who appreciates rural life, the outdoors and loves animals.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding our two cats and 7 chickens. The cats are basically independent but like to be warm and love affection. We close in the chickens every evening to keep them safe from predators.
Keeping the house clean and lived in.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a comfortable, pretty house in a small village. All amenities are within 10km and the Pyrenees are less than an hour's drive away. Lots of walks and places to explore just on the doorstep.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You will need transport. Our main heating is from very good wood burning stoves, but it is usually quite warm here in May. A practical person who enjoys the outdoors would enjoy this house sit.

Can I bring my own pets?
