Pippa is 7 and healthy. No special needs.
You'll most enjoy this position and house if you like cats and have a somewhat bohemian spirit. Ideally you have a car (or like walking- many things are pretty near by, including bus stops and busses are free in Longmont).
It's pretty low key. Feed and water the cat, take in mail, take out trash, water the plants if they look droopy. We'd love it if you clean up after yourself. (We'll hand over the place to you well-scrubbed.)
The only foreseen nuisance will be shoveling the sidewalk if it snows. We have a good shovel and ice salt.
Our place is artsy, colorful, and full of natural light. It's wheelchair accessible, has an exercise room (though that is downstairs, not wheelchair accessible), and VERY high-speed internet.
We're on a very quiet street, but walking distance to two parks, the bus hub, and the old town strip of restaurants and shops and such. We have a huge backyard and lots of outdoor seating.
Will you miss tv? We have great internet, and a Roku, but not cable.
Longmont is about 45 minutes north of Denver, so if what you're really looking for is a Denver base, you may be frustrated by the drive. We're quite convenient to Boulder, though. And Rocky Mountain National Park or Eldora Ski Resort are a very easy day trip.

Restrictions: If it seems the pet will be a fit with Pippa, sure. We do NOT have an entirely fenced-in yard.
Testimonials
Precious kitty, wonderful home!
Pippa was a joy to cat sit. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and always returned promptly when called. She is friendly, loves to snuggle and really enjoys company! The homeowners, Mare and Eryc, were easy-going, communicative and so hospitable. They provided excellent information on Pippa, their home, and their neighborhood. We stayed in frequent contact through the housesit. Their home is very comfortable and is located in a nice, quiet suburb that is walkable to parks, restaurants, and entertainment.
