About this assignment
We are looking for someone who will take care of our 2 cats - Rabbat and Ashanti. We will be on holidays with our two kids and unfortunately the cats have to stay home.
They are 3 years young. They are very playful, cuddly and love the outdoors.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
To give them water and food every day and play and cuddle a bit with them. Rabbat is more the stay at home cat and Ashanti is the adventure girl.
What are the good features of the property and location
We live in Bonn. It's a very beautiful city in Germany and the apartment is very close to the river Rhein and to the old town of the city (Altstadt), where you can find restaurants and bars close by.
We live in an apartment with 3 rooms (1 bedroom, 2 kid´s rooms) and a nice kitchen. Our neighbors in the building are young (average 30yo), friendly and helpful.
And visiting Bonn in the winter is a beautiful time. There is lots to see and do.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Rabbat and Ashanti are two really easy going cats, they don't need much. Just to be here and take care of them and enjoy them.
We will be happy if every other day we receive some info that everything it going well.
Can I bring my own pets?

Enjoyed my stay in Bonn!
I stayed in Bonn for almost three weeks to take care of the two cats Ashanti and Rabbat. On the first day Wolfgang showed me around the apartment and the building. I immediately felt welcome. Even afterwards the contact remained very good. The apartment was super cozy and neat, with every comfort available. Ashanti and Rabbat are two sociable, beautiful, well-groomed cats and easy to get along with. The location of the apartment was ideal: close to the Rhine promenade (great for walking, jogging and cycling) and the cherry blossoms, and within walking distance of the historic center. Bonn is definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful stay in Bonn with Rabbat and Ashanti!
My two weeks stay with my husband and daughter in Christina and her family's flat has been a very good experience. We fell in love with her two cats: Rabbat and Ashanti. They are educated, affectionate, friendly, and very beautiful! Christina has also been very good with us; she is very detailed, very kind, resolutive... If we have had any doubt, she has answered us quickly and effectively. In addition, her flat was very comfortable and pleasant, we felt like we were at home! It is located very close to the city centre, so it is perfect for visiting Bonn. We would definitely recommend it 100%. We would be very happy to come back in the future! :)

Wonderful cat sitting assignment- Highly recommended!
I had a lovely time house-sitting for Christina and Wolfgang. It was a pleasure to look after their cats Rabbat and Ashanti. The cats are friendly, playful, and easy going. Christina kindly set up a meeting before I started the house sit and introduced me to the cats. Any time I had questions during the house-sit, I received a reply straight away with helpful information. The apartment is in a nice central location, and all the neighbors are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this housesitting assignment!

Taking care of Ashanti and Rabbat in Bonn
I had the chance, together with my girlfriend Roser, to take care of Christina's beautiful cats, Rabbat and Ashanti during 2 weeks in Bonn. They are super cute and delightful to be around. Christina and her family live in a nice flat 10 minutes away from downtown. Communication with her was very easy. Because we couldn't meet in person before they left, she made sure to send us some videos explaining how everything worked and arranged for a neighbour to give us the keys. I would definitely sit for her again. Obrigada!

Great location to discover Bonn from
Chris and Wolfgang prepared my stay and the - very large - appartment so well, I just had to settle in and play with the cats. Rabbat and Ashanti are young, lively and affectionate (the more so the longer you stay) and almost no work at all (if you don't count feeding and an occasional ceremonial burial for a dead mouse). The Rhine and city center are in walking distance, but taking your bike is also a good idea, because riding along the promenade is even more enjoyable. The house has a nice community flair to it with mostly younger people/families living there. Although they were busy travelling, Chris and Wolfgang stayed in touch and cared about how things were going. I'd be happy to come back any time.
