Zen (6.5), Zeytin (5.5)
Sitters should be kind, caring, clean/tidy, COMMUNICATIVE, and love cats! Vegan would be a huge bonus, but at a minimum, I would hope that you could forego bringing any meat into my home.
The dates given are my own departure and arrival dates. I would prefer that you arrive at least one day before and, because my return could potentially be delayed, depart one day later.
To feed my crazy boys 3x day, make sure their litter boxes (and the flat) are kept clean, keep them company and/or from killing each other (sometimes their play-fights turn a little too serious ...), play with them as needed, send me regular updates and photos (too many is better than too few!) and (let me know what I can do to help you) enjoy your stay!
Please also water the plants and bring in / update me on any mail!
There is a subway and suburban railway station less than 5 min. away on foot, along with several bus lines. The city center is a 10-minute ride away. The flat is in a courtyard off a quiet residential street, so it's quite peaceful (when the kids aren't out on the playground just off the balcony). You can sometimes see beautiful sunsets from the balcony. There's a large, beautiful park about 15-20 minutes' walk away, and the Isar river is about a 30-minute walk in the other direction. There are many nice restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, and a big grocery store and other shops/pharmacies/banks just across the big street on the other side of the building complex. Very conveniently located for getting around the city and finding your everyday needs. Comfortable for 2 people. Fast Internet, you're welcome to connect your laptop to my larger monitor. Laundry in building (basement). Tiny kitchen (and refrigerator), but has a dishwasher! No television. Double bed is pretty low to the ground, so probably not suitable for anyone with knee issues!
My oldest boy (Kafka, gray) recently left us :( I don't have time to update the photos right now.
My youngest boy (Zeytin, Turkish former street cat, black, 5.5) is a perpetual kitten and always wants to play.
The (former) middle child (Zen, Turkish former street cat, ginger, 6.5, now the oldest) is fit as a fiddle and crazy as a loon ... he'll knock down/over anything that isn't nailed down (guard your beverages closely!!) and get into anything he wants come h*ll or high water, and you won't be able to be mad at him because he's so darned cute and cuddly (when he wants to be, which is actually pretty often). He also occasionally gets really worked up about his play with Zeytin :( If/when that happens, you should step in and distract him and create an escape route for Zeytin or just keep them apart for a short time until the mood passes. It doesn't usually take more than a minute or two.
No, sorry.
Testimonials
I recently had the pleasure of staying in Brie's apartment in Munich and looking after her four adorable cats. From the moment I arrived, Brie made me feel welcome and at home. She showed me around the city, and we went to a Christmas market. She was an excellent host, always available to answer any questions I had and make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The apartment is comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of shops and restaurants nearby. But the real highlight of my stay was the opportunity to spend time with Brie's cats. They were very sweet and playful, and it was a joy to care for them while Brie was away. They really added to the homey, welcoming atmosphere of the apartment. Overall, I had a fantastic time in Munich and would highly recommend Brie's apartment to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient place to stay. Brie is a wonderful host. Thank you for a great experience:)
