About this assignment

I am looking for a dog lover/enthusiast who is also responsible and trustworthy. Someone who loves dogs and enjoys spending time with one is required for this mission.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The responsibilities are not that many actually.
1. Taking care of my dog: give her food (2 times per day), play with her and love her, let her go outside in the garden.

2. Keep the place neat and tidy as you would do in your own home.

3. That's it!

What are the good features of the property and location

There are many good features:
- first (for dog lovers) - there's a dog :)
- I live in a big house, which is very cozy and offers a lot of space and opportunities for relaxing, playing outside, being creative and meditate.
- there's a big garden (800 m2) with hammocks between the trees and a great chill area
- there's a gazebo with a barbeque area
- silence and nature but also very very close to the city
- Bucharest old town is 15 km away from the house, and there is a bus which passes just in front of the gate.

There is also the possibility to stay with Kirahvi at the flat in the city in Bucharest - very close to the city center.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I really need someone who is responsible and who understands the importance of being responsible :). I don't ask for a lot. I am looking for someone who would treat my home and my dog the best way possible (as I mentioned before, as anyone does to their own home).

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.

Testimonials

A housesit that turned into a friendship

Andreea was so kind and generous right from the offset. She picked us up from the airport, showed us around, and gave us so much Romanian food home-cooked by her or her family, and veggie too! Kirahvi is such a little character and one of the smartest dogs we've looked after - she can even open doors. She likes to play but is also happy to just spend time outside thinking about life or chilling on the sofa while you watch TV. It was our first time in Romania and we were so welcomed by Andreea and her whole family who lived nearby. Bucharest is a very cool city and we enjoyed walking around the streets, getting drinks & food, exploring second-hand shops, and the coolest bookshop we've ever been in. Andreea is a great guide and host, and we had so much in common that we feel more like friends now than simply housesitters. ~Amy & Jordan
