PET SITTER NEEDED - 3 MONTHS - NORMANDY

About this assignment

My partner and I are animal rescuers, we used to live in Asia for 6 years but are now back in France, settled in Upper Normandy with our large furry family of 8 dogs and 7 cats.
Our property is divided in 2 houses, ours, and my dad's who lives here only part time. We currently have a rescue dog under our care, who stays at my dad's, we need a pet sitter to look after the house and Bandit, while my father is away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

House sitter will mainly have to look after Bandit make sure he doesn't stay alone too long, he is the priority. Feed him (home made diet), play and cuddle as he is very demanding of attention, and walk him in the surrounding countryside from time to time, or anywhere (beach, park...). Obviously maintain the house as well and keep the premises clean and tidy, as if it was their own home. The house is big with a fully fenced yard.

What are the good features of the property and location

House sitter will have his private large bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom is equipped with TV. House is 230sqm (but other bedrooms will be closed and no need of maintenance) with fully fitted kitchen and large living area surrounded with fully fenced and secured garden. Optic fibre Wifi and cable TV. House is located in Country side Upper Normandy, 30km from Rouen City. We are surrounded by nature, it is very slow life here.
We have nice helpful neighbors in the hamlet but you do have to like your own company

Nearby are local villages with Fresh farmers market, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, hair dressers... etc. There are also some lovely things to visit around such as the Battlefield Castle, The Cathedral of Rouen, le Château D'Harcourt and its Arboretum, Historical Jeanne d'Arc... and much more. Coast (Honfleur beach) is 45mn drive.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A car is necessary here as there is no public transport and the closest villages and commodities are about 5 to 10km away but we can lend one of our cars for the use of the sitter if necessary (for short distance such as running errands). A bicycle is also available.
As mentioned above, we live in the second house of the property (separated by a fence) so any advice/help or recommendation can be provided. Bandit is easy going, we've had many pet sitters over the past 2 years and everybody falls in love with this big guy!
