Lovely home & puppy in the Santa Cruz Mountains

About this assignment

We are looking for someone to stay in our house and look after our 14 month old puppy, Ruby, from April 4, 2024 to April 14, 2024. She's a Bichon Shih Tzu and is super sweet and calm. She is the easiest puppy to look after other than being a picky eater :) She loves the beach, people and other dogs.

This will be a great opportunity to spend some time near Santa Cruz for free. We just ask that you treat our house and pup like you would your own.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Just take care of Ruby, let her out regularly, take her for a little walk up the road, water the plants and take the garbage out Monday evenings.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are only 10 miles from Santa Cruz and away from any sort of hustle and bustle. We are surrounded by the redwoods and have a lovely big back deck. Our house is an old cabin built in 1935 that has been built onto and raised. It's small, quaint and "mountain funky" :)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We don't allow smoking in the house and would prefer a single person to stay. We aren't near any public transportation, so you would need your own vehicle.
