About this assignment

Only apply if you actually love dogs and plan to spend your days mostly around them. Experience, references and CARE a must. In return, you'll have a very rewarding relationship with two lovely dogs and a wonderful stay in the Caribbean.
The first one is happily getting old and enjoy a lot of sleep and cuddles. The second one is still full of peps and also loves long walks. I love them more than I can say. They've been part of my life for many years now so I want to make sure they're being cared for with love while I'm away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

From early March to beginning of December 2025, possibly together with another sitter so dog-sitters could keep each other company and one could go while the other one would stay if needed, the volunteers will be responsible for brushing and walking the dogs every day, bathe them at least once a month, give them medicines with a piece of cheese morning and evening, keep the premises clean and tidy and relay information.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is 15-20 min walk from the sea, the river and a grocery shop. It has a big garden with a large variety of fruit trees.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Be ready to live in the countryside of a small developing English-speaking island (which is very different from the States). Nature is bountiful but don't except any night life around. A couple or two friends would be better so both could keep each other company and one could go while the other one would stay if needed.
