Sitter needed for Cotswold home in June 2025 - cat and tortoise included!

About this assignment

We are looking for someone who is reliable and respectful, ideally an animal lover who will give the cat and tortoise lots of attention, as they are used to adoration!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking care of our cat and tortoise and watering the garden. We also have a few house plants that will need watering and bins will need putting out.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are in a quiet neighbourhood only a mile from the Cotswold market town of Stroud. We are ideally located for hiking in the countryside, there are some fantastic walks near our house, but also have some great Cotswold towns and villages near by, a number of supermarkets and excellent bus and train connections to cities such as Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham, Bath, Cardiff, Oxford and London.

Our house has two double bedrooms with one Superking bed and the other with a double bed. We have a good sized fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room and a large garden with a seating area and barbecue.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our primary focus is for the welfare of our pets, so you must be committed to ensuring they are well cared for during your stay. They are relatively low maintenance, we would just be happy to know that they are in safe hands.
