Country home close to entertainment & amenities w/ 2 indoor cats

I am looking for a house and pet sitter that enjoys caring for cats and being in beautiful place in nature, but near many amenities and entertainment.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

My two cats are low maintenance, no medications or wet foot, and simply need to be enjoyed and played with. Their automatic feeder only needs to be filled once every week, so you can easily take short trips around the region without worrying about them. The yard needs to be mowed on my riding mower once a week and the garden might need watering if it doesn’t rain. And of course my frisky cats will enjoy being played with and petted regularly.

What are the good features of the property and location

My home is a 15 minute drive into Charlottesville, a lovely university town with lots of cafes, music, and dozens of vineyards and breweries, not to mention Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home. I am at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a 15 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail and Shenandoah National Park. Within walking distance is a supermarket, 5 restaurants, bank and other shopping. Several miles of walking and biking trails are right outside the door of my six acres, but you might just want to enjoy the peace and quiet that is abundant in my woods, pasture and nearby spring fed pond. This is a great base from which to explore the larger area of Washington DC (2 hours), Richmond (90 minutes), Shenandoah Valley (20 minutes) or even Virginia Beach (3 hours). In winter you may be interested in visiting the two ski resorts, Wintergreen and Massanutten, that are about a 45 minute drive away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I am looking for a conscientious person or couple who enjoys caring for animals and a beautiful setting in nature. No smoking within the home (outside is OK) or people looking for a party location.
