What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed, pet and care for 2 cats. Clean litter as needed. Cats have their own schedule -- Tigre outside after breakfast about 8am, and home for dinner and the night about 6pm. Leona, house kitty. Keep house tidy.

What are the good features of the property and location

Located overlooking Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico, surrounded by mountains. Near the towns of Ajijic and Chapala. House is 2+ bedrooms with large patio and lap pool. Perfect climate all year round. Utilities, gardner and once a week houskeeper included. Area has large population of English speaking ex-pats, US and Canadian. Spanish not essential but helpful. Local Mexicans very welcoming and helpful.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Area is hilly and local streets are rough cobblestone. Physical activities include walking, hiking, bike riding, kayaking. Cultural activities include movie theaters, concerts, local markets. Public transportation is readily available. The cost of living is low compared to the US. One hour from central Guadalajara. 1/2 hour from the Guadalajara international airport (GDL). about 500 pesos ($30USD) from airport.
