There is one cute and loveable cat.
We're looking for a quiet, clean person or couple who would enjoy our cat, Henry and a peaceful village get away on Puget Sound in Western Washington. Seattle is a ferry ride away.
Care for Henry, a few house plants to water, scoop litter boxes, take out garbage, keep home clean. Henry is a wobbly cat. He has a neurological condition that makes him unsteady. He is otherwise a typical, healthy and happy cat.
We live in a lovely, clean, newer home. We're located in a quaint village on the shores of Puget Sound, across the water from Seattle, WA. There's a beautiful beach to stroll, hikes nearby and mountains and longer hikes within a 90 minute drive.
There's a dedicated office and high speed internet throughout.
Henry has cerebellar hyperplasia, aka he is a wobbly cat. He is healthy and well; he's just wobbly and sometimes falls over. He requires no special care except some additives to his food.
We live in a small, beautiful village with a lovely beach. There's a post office and little grocery/deli/coffeeshop. Nearest groceries and restaurants are 10 or more minutes away. Use of our car may be an option.
No, sorry.

Lovely house and cat sit in the Northwest temperate rainforest
We thoroughly enjoyed taking care of this beautiful home and its inhabitants, Dusty and Henry, two wobbly and warm-spirited cats. The homeowners were welcoming, gracious, and generous and provided excellent instructions for both home and cat care. -- We found that Dusty is everyone's friend, whereas Henry makes you work for his affection, making his purring on your lap all the more sweet! Even with a neurological condition that affects their motor coordination, these two boys can get around as needed and eat and use the litter box seamlessly. We found their tenacity and spirit quite admirable. -- The house and gardens are artistically designed and decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Our favorite spot was the covered porch, where even in the rain we could eat our meals while enjoying the surrounding forest and gardens and watching the birds and hummingbirds at their feeders. -- During our stay, we enjoyed walking around the village roads, trails, dock, beach and tide flats, and hiking the many rainforest trails and shorelines within a short drive. Seattle is only about an hour away by car and ferry, yet we were so content in Indianola and the Kitsap Peninsula that we never did venture to the city during our 3-week stay. -- We would be happy to sit here again, and we highly recommend this housesit to future sitters.
