Mishka is a 9 year old Russian Blue. She is very friendly and loves sitting on your lap. She sleeps most of the time but does like playtime. She enjoys company and likes daily brushings. Sometimes she watches TV.

About this assignment
Looking for a mature couple or single person who loves cats and is clean and tidy and respectful who will treat our cat and home as if it were theirs. Definitely no party sitters or overnight guests, non smokers.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Maintain the property in a clean manner. Entertain our cat with daily brushing and patting. Clean cat litter on a regular basis changing when required. Morning and afternoon feeding. Water pot plants.
What are the good features of the property and location
Large, modern apartment located on 13th floor in West End Brisbane. Washing machine, dishwasher, air-conditioning/heating, internet and large balcony overlooking city skyline and only 0.9km walk to city centre. Bus at front door. Numerous restaurants nearby. 0.5km to river walkways. Swimming pool and BBQ area onsite. Top security access. Great neighbours. The building and common areas have 24/7 CCTV security cameras.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Willingness to adhere to rules and regulations of the body corporate and be considerate to others living in the building. Our first priority is the health and welfare of our cat.

Taking care of lovely Mishka ???? while Lindsay & Tuula were on holiday was a unique experience. Not only do the 3 live in a gorgeous location in West End Brisbane, but they all did their part to make this a memorable house-sit. From the very first Zoom call, to meeting them in person for the first time, to Lindsay & Tuula returning from their holiday, everything felt right. They welcomed us into their home, gave us very detailed instructions about the whole complex and showed us how they'd like Mishka to be fed and treated. Mishka herself didn't take long to warm up. As soon as you sit down, Mishka jumps on your lap and stays there :). She has such a lovely personality. We miss the 3 already and hope to have the chance to come back in the future. Thank you again Lindsay, Tuula & Mishka for having us. You guys are the reason why house sitting is so much fun ????!
