House sitting with 3 cats in South West France (roughly June 1 to July 31)

About this assignment

We are looking for a couple that does not smoke, is reliable and has your own transport as we live in a remote area without public transportation.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding three cats (Julie, Yoda, Chanoi) morning and evening. And water indoor plants weekly. Julie and Yoda (siblings) are very easygoing and like to cuddle, they sleep inside. Chanoi is the mother but she prefers to stay outside as she is a bit skittish, she is originally wild but with time allows you to pet her.

What are the good features of the property and location

Welcome to your private ivy-covered house in the beautiful countryside of the Lot-et-Garonne. The house is old but has a nice character. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities, the bedroom is spacious with a field view, and the washroom has a shower/tub and washing machine for your laundry. There is also a fireplace, Chromecast TV, private patio/seating areas and outdoor dining area.

We live in a peaceful countryside but the surrounding villages (Monflanquin, Villereal, Bergerac, Villeneuve Sur Lot) are full of life (especially during summer) and all the restaurants and stores we need. Our neighbours are also always open and helpful.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You need a car to be able to get groceries and visit around (groceries 10min away, big supermarket 25min). No smoking is allowed on property.

The cats are fed in the morning and evening, otherwise they are busy wondering around outside. Waterting a few plants around the property and mowing the grass time to time would be nice.
