About this assignment

I am looking for someone with experience with elderly kitties to look after Nadia while I am away at a meditation retreat. I live in a quiet neighborhood in an older neighborhood.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The sitter will need to feed the Nadia 2X/day, and scoop the litter boxes every other day if she is using them (she has a kitty door and prefers to do her business outside unless it is cold.). Also, bring in the mail, and water houseplants one time. Water a few outdoor plants if it does not rain.

What are the good features of the property and location

My home is on a private 1/2 acre lot just above the River Arts District of Asheville, North Carolina, It will be peak leaf season while I am away!
There is a wooded 187 acre park within walking distance, and I am very close to the Greenway System for walking and cycling. My home is 7 minutes by car to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and other Grocery stores. Those stores are within walking distance of downtown.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You will need your own transportation. My guest room has 1 single bed, so I need one person only. I have a tenant in an apartment in the back of the house with his own entrance. He is a massage therapist, quiet, and is gone a lot of days and nights.
