Thanks in Denver Colorado (1 week) samoyed pup and cat

About this assignment

We're looking for someone who is responsible, quiet, responsive, respectful. We want you to treat our home like it's your own! Open to a single person, couple, or small family who would like to spend thanksgiving in Denver.
Note: No smoking, no drugs

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Caring for our Samoyed pup and making sure our cat is watched after. Couple of plants to water and if we get snow, shoveling the front sidewalk.

Yeti is a 5 year old Samoyed pup that loves everyone and everything - he is easy to care for- scoop of food in morning, he’ll hang out with you as much as you want him to, but he is also good to go in his crate if you want to adventure out. Our back yard is fenced to easy potty breaks. While he loves walks around the neighborhood - they are not required. I can’t guarantee that you won’t leave wanting to adopt your own Samoyed.

Luna is a 10 year old Maine coon cat that is somewhat aloof and will probably keep to herself- she has an automatic litter box that requires attention every couple days.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is in central Denver. About 5 miles east of downtown. The neighborhood is called Central Park (formerly stapleton).

We are about a 10 minute walk from the Northfield shopping area that has a super target (including groceries), movie theater and shops/restaurants.

Our home is light and bright. We have a spacious main floor with a main floor guest room with en-suite bath that we will have ready for you.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with lots of kitchen gadgets and small appliances as we love to cook.

The family room has a smart tv for entertainment. There is gas fireplace in the main family room, and another in the basement.

Our basement features a small home gym, peloton and treadmill, as well as a home theater and secondary kitchen.

Our house has excellent high speed fiber internet

We also have a small hot tub in the back yard.

If you are a small family, we can figure out which of our kids rooms might be best for more guests.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are looking for someone that can cover from 11/26/24-12/3/24.

We would be glad to have you stay a couple/few days on either side of that, with the knowledge that our family will also be at the home.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
