About this assignment
Looking for someone responsible, honest and straightforward to house sit my place and dog sit my 5 year old border/Aussie mix. Must be experienced and have references.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Looking after the property, enjoying the facilities and killer location - and feeding, walking and entertaining my dog, which require taking out three times a day, one of which should be a decent length walk. I have one dog
What are the good features of the property and location
My apartment is in a great location, overlooking the harbor and a few hundred yards from the beach. It is bright, airy and fully equipped. It is part of a complex with excellent amenities, including four swimming pools/hot tubs, two gyms and more.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
I have one dog which needs a medium amount of care and attention. I need someone who is considerate of neighbors and will be home most (but not all) of the time.

Wonderful dog in a great location
Poppy is a very smart and loving border collie/Aussie who became our new best friend while petsitting in Marina Del Rey, CA. She is the star of the local dog park while retrieving her ball by running so fast and jumping so high. She is the star of the Marina, playing soccer with us as we walk past the seals laying out on the marina. She is the star of her comfortable condo, complete with pool table and heated swimming pool as well as a lovely water view balcony. Martin, her owner, is considerate and kind. He gave us his garage parking spot, cleared his freezer to make room for our fifteen pound Thanksgiving turkey, and made it possible for us to hit the road early to get home before dark on our last day with Poppy. Yes it was hard to say goodbye to such a sweet dog. In the fifteen years of pet sitting with Mind My House, we believe she is our favorite dog! Thanks for sharing her, Martin. If you have a chance to meet her, you will love her too!
